This is to inform you about an important update regarding the TRAI regulation TCCCPR 2018, which involves the binding of Principal Entities (PEs) and Telemarketers on the DLT platform for SMS services.
The above-mentioned TRAI Directions mandates that all Principal Entities (PEs) shall disclose the entire chain through which the intended commercial communication will reach to the end customer, and that shall include all the involved Registered Telemarketers (Aggregator-Telemarketer and Delivery Function-Telemarketer) between PE and OAP (Originating Access Provider).
• The scrubbing process for PE-TM binding will go live on December 1, 2024. Only messages from complete,
compliant chains will be delivered; non-compliant messages will be scrubbed.
• The registration process for declaring your Telemarketer/Aggregator/Delivery
Telemarketer is available across all the Operator DLT portal.
• PE can define PE-TM/TD chain binding in anyone of the DLT portal.
• Log in to the respective DLT portal
• Select the “CHAINS” tab for Vodafone portal, “Manage SMS Workflow” tab for Airtel
portal, “My SMS Telemarketers” for JIO portal and “PE-TM Chain” for V CON portal.
• Upon login into the respective DLT portal, select Suvega Digital Media Private Limited as your TD partner;
the name will auto-populate, our TD id is 1702159108265018262.
• After submitting the request, inform us on support@suvegadigital.in to approve the request on the DLT
portal.
• Once the entire chain is defined and approved from Suvega Digital, PE needs to
login into the DLT portal and approve the chain after that chain will start reflecting in
active/approved state.
Below are the Operator PE-TM/TD binding User Manual to guide you through the process.
